Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily dispatch, pickup, and delivery schedules for ground freight.
- Coordinate with truck drivers, carriers, and shipping customers.
- Track active shipments and resolve transit delays or routing issues.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and safety rules.
- Process shipping documentation like bills of lading and manifests.
- Utilize Transport Management Systems (TMS) and logistics software.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or logistics.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, dispatch, or transport operations.
- Knowledge of ground transport regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics database systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Logistics, Knowledge
- Velocity experienced it is a Plus
- Must be available for Mandatory OT
- Must be Bilingual
