United Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Supervisor for a nursing job in Endicott, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Clinic Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Staff Acts on behalf of the Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, and hospital administrators in dealing with Nursing and operational issues by facilitating communication and problem-solving and by providing guidance, direction, education, and support to the nursing employees while observing, assessing and evaluation the quality of care provided for patients. Education/Experience Minimum Required: A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing Three (3) years of progressive Nursing experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing Previous supervisory experience in a hospital setting License/Certification Minimum Required: Current New York State Registered Nurse License CPR within 3 months of hire Preferred: Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (Nursing Administration) ACLS certification Work Environment Work is performed in primarily in a mobile manner, with greater than 70% of working hours spent rounding to patient care units and in direct contact with numerous employees, visitors, patients and physicians. Areas are air conditioned and heated. Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting. Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
