Litigation AttorneyOur client, a well-established law firm, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their team. The firm handles a diverse caseload and is open to candidates with probate litigation experience as well as those with broad civil litigation backgrounds. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking for hands-on experience, mentorship, and long-term growth. The firm is looking to potentially hire two attorneys - one with a focus on probate litigation and another with general civil litigation experience. The role involves managing cases across multiple practice areas including probate, personal injury, family law, employment, and business litigation.Responsibilities:Handle a caseload involving probate litigation and/or general civil litigation mattersDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondenceConduct legal research and case analysisRepresent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and depositionsCollaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparationCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnelMeet or exceed billable hour requirementsQualifications:Active license to practice law in California (required)Experience in probate litigation and/or civil litigationStrong understanding of litigation procedures and court processesTrial or hearing experience is a plusAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficientlySkills:Excellent written and verbal communicationStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAttention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyClient-focused mindsetBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and parental leavePerformance-based bonus structure (based on billing)Mentorship and career advancement opportunitiesSupport for professional development and community involvement
