About This Role The Assistant Nurse Manager is a Registered Professional Nurse who acts as a clinical leader in the daily functioning of the unit and oversight of quality patient care delivery, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Clinical Nurse Manager. Highlights Pay : $132,411.29 - $153,840.32 Annually Location : New York, NY Facility : Mount Sinai Morningside Department/Unit : Cardiac Cath Lab Nursing - STL Schedule : Full-Time, Evening Shift (11am-9pm) What You'll Do Lead nursing practice using the tenets of the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care. Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Purposeful Hourly Rounding (PHR). Ensure the integration of PHR into clinical activities to enhance Relationship Centered Care. Validate staff members round hourly on all patients by direct observation and patient feedback. Assess staff competency in PHR and provide consistent meaningful feedback. Conduct rounding of all patients on a daily basis (Monday-Friday). Communicate quantitative and qualitative information regarding the patient experience to the staff. Collaborate with the physician dyad and **escalate** concerns as appropriate. Follow up on all patient concerns in a timely manner and provide service recovery as needed. Design and lead a safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient-centered care environment. Requirements Education Bachelor of Science with a major in nursing required, master's in nursing or health-related field preferred. Experience 3 years minimum clinical nursing experience with some Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience preferred. Interventional Radiology/Cardiac Cath Lab experience required. Licenses & Certifications Licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State. ACLS and BCLS from AHA required.
