Cafe Attendant Position: Cafe Attendant Job Type: Part Time (multiple openings) Location: FFC Elmhurst Shifts: Shift 1: 10 AM - 3 PM Shift 2: 6:40 AM - 1 PM Shift 3: 1 PM - 8 PM Compensation: $15.40 per hour Your Role: Welcome with a Smile: Greet every member by name and create a warm, positive experience from the moment they arrive Engage & Assist: Use your strong communication skills to answer questions and assist customers with product selection, ensuring they have everything they need Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting caf area that reflects FFC's commitment to superior service Transactions: Manage transactions accurately, ensuring that the register reflects all sales and services Food & Safety: Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures according to local, state, and federal health codes Food Orders: Executes food, smoothie & espresso drink orders in a fast, presentable and efficient manner Grill: Prepare and grill menu items for pool deck service while maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and all health and safety standards Team Collaboration & Independence: Work closely with your teammates and supervisor while also taking initiative and working independently to complete tasks and keep the caf running smoothly What We're Looking For: Outgoing & Friendly Personality: You love interacting with people and making them feel welcome Reliable & Punctual: You can be counted on to show up on time and contribute to a smooth-running team Coachable & Eager to Learn: You're open to feedback and eager to grow in your role Food Safety Certification: You must obtain an Illinois Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment (at your own expense) What We Offer: Insurance - Dental and Vision insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois 401K - with company match We provide fitness instructor training and significant discounts on these educational programs (Pilates, Group Fitness, Personal Trainer, Yoga) Other Perks of Working at FFC: Complimentary Club Membership to use any of our FFC locations!
