Overview

In this energetic role, you'll engage with customers, prepare delicious menu items, and ensure smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to create a welcoming atmosphere
Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and transactions
Handle cash accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, ensuring proper change and receipt issuance
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food handling protocols
Assist in food preparation, including basic cooking tasks, assembly, and packaging of orders
Support team members in managing busy periods through effective time management and multitasking skills

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
Experience with food preparation, cashiering, or serving in a café or grocery store setting is advantageous
Willingness to learn new skills related to food industry operations and team collaboration
