Manufacturing Technician 1st Shift

Job Summary In this role as a Manufacturing Technician for the 1st shift at Norma Precision Inc, you will be responsible for operating machines, packing ammunition, and conducting quality inspections. Attention to detail and a commitment to product quality assurance are crucial aspects of this position. Responsibilities Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure machines are clear of debris and raw materials are loaded correctly. Start and monitor machines to ensure smooth operation and that quality standards are met. Address any malfunctions or jams in machinery promptly. Conduct quality inspections on the first run of products. Clean and maintain machines according to guidelines. Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following regulations and procedures. Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed. Perform Operator Level Quality Assurance checks on parts produced. Pack ammunition into appropriate packaging for distribution. Qualifications Entry-level position. Strong attention to detail and excellent eyesight for close inspection work. Knowledge of firearms and ammunition is preferred. Technical aptitude to troubleshoot various types of machinery. Ability to work independently, multitask, and communicate effectively. Comfortable working under pressure and adhering to safety protocols. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Job Type Full-time, Non-Exempt, 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:00 pm) Work Environment and Physical Demands Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 60 lbs. Wear appropriate safety gear such as work toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Ability to hear and respond to soft and loud noises. Flexibility to bend, twist, reach, and operate equipment safely. Must be adaptable to changing work environments.
