Bakeshop Banquet Cook - AM

Because we are looking for a Bakeshop Cook! This is a full-time role with a typical schedule of AM-mid-shift coverage - typical shift is 5:30am-2pm. What does the ROLE entail? Produce a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests’ expectations in a timely manner. Requires total supervision and hands‑on training. Practice the importance of producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' expectation in a timely manner. Responsible for communicating with culinary team. Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation. Your EXPERIENCE: Produce a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests’ expectations in a timely manner. Professional knowledge of cooking ingredients, procedures and experience in the culinary world. Responsible for communicating and working successfully in a team environment. Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation. This position will require the individual to work solo shifts after an appropriate amount of training. 1-3 years of experience preferred, hotel or large volume catering. Capable of standing for 8 hours. Ability to lift/push up to 50lbs. Responsible for maintaining a clean work space. Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills including reading recipes. Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule. Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
