Fleet Operations Manager

Job Overview We are a stable, family‑owned local/OTR trucking company located in Davis County Utah looking for a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee safety, drivers, fleet operations, and DOT compliance. This role is hands‑on and fast‑paced—ideal for someone who thrives on coordination, accountability, and variety in their day. Responsibilities Manage, coordinate, and dispatch a fleet of drivers and trucks Oversee daily dispatching, scheduling, and load coordination Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and safety standards Manage driver qualifications including licensing, medical cards, training, and certifications Maintain accurate driver files, logs, inspections, and compliance records Monitor fleet safety, performance, and maintenance coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding schedules, routes, and compliance Stay current on transportation regulations and ensure company‑wide adherence Qualifications Min 5 years' experience in fleet management, dispatching, and transportation operations (construction experience preferred) Strong knowledge of DOT compliance and driver regulations Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with drivers and leadership Organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive problem‑solver Valid driver's license required – CDL Preferred Benefits Competitive salary with weekly pay PTO and holiday pay Medical, dental, and RX coverage 401K with company match Year‑round local work Supportive, family‑oriented work environment And so much more!
