Provisioning helps organizations of all sizes deploy and manage 1Password through scalable provisioning and organization-management experiences. We build the workflows that help admins onboard people, manage access, and support long-term adoption, with a focus on reliable, secure, and intuitive experiences. As an intern on the team, you’ll work on frontend web experiences in React and TypeScript alongside engineers, product managers, and designers. Our current roadmap includes improving activation, invitation and provisioning-pipeline visibility, error recovery, and other Admin Console workflows. This is a remote opportunity within Canada/US. This position will be for 4 months - January to April 2027. What You Can Expect: - Contribute to frontend features in the 1Password Admin Console using React, TypeScript, CSS, and established design-system patterns.

- Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to turn customer and admin needs into simple, accessible experiences. - Write maintainable code, tests, and documentation, and participate in code reviews, debugging, and quality improvements. - Learn the Provisioning domain and help improve workflows such as onboarding, invitations, user-status visibility, and provisioning error handling. - Work with the team to investigate problems, communicate progress, and deliver incremental improvements safely. What we're looking for: - Confidence: A willingness to take on new challenges, and see them through to completion. - Humility: You're not afraid to ask "stupid" questions and make mistakes (as long as you learn from them). - Curiosity: You look for better ways of doing things, even if everyone seems happy with how they are. - Teamwork: We work together, and succeed as a team! - Technical foundations: Working knowledge of React and familiarity with TypeScript and CSS fundamentals. - Web development foundations: Comfort with HTML, browser behavior, accessibility, Git, and learning established patterns in an existing codebase. - Project experience: Experience building a small web project through coursework, an internship, personal work, or open source contributions. Bonus points for: - Experience with React and TypeScript beyond coursework, including a personal, school, or open source project. - Familiarity with design systems or component libraries, and with Figma or a similar design tool. - Exposure to frontend testing tools such as Jest, Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress. - Understanding of API integration, asynchronous JavaScript, or backend concepts.
