Big Smiles Missouri, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant/Expanded Fuctions Dental Assistant Team Lead in St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school, working full-time. Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. Dental Assistant Qualifications X-ray License Digital X-ray Imaging experience Coronal Polishing (preferred, not required) CPR certified Work experience as a Dental Assistant Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and willing to travel Works well with children Organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task Team player and able to work on a small team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Dental Assistant Responsibilities Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics Digital X-ray Imaging Patient Records Charting Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance Travel Daily to and from school sites Team Lead Requirements/Responsibilities Responsible for driving company vehicle Must be at least 21 years old Must be willing to travel daily Ability to meet deadlines and arrive on-time each day Reliable, organized, punctual Computer skills - Microsoft office applications Great people skills - ability to communicate with Adults & Children Must have valid drivers license, clean driving record Order supplies, sterilizing instruments, spore testing Responsible for back office duties Keep van & equipment in good condition Missouri Big Smiles Offers Evenings, weekends and summers off! Working a school day schedule (about 6 - 7 hours); on average between 800 A.M. - 300 P.M.
