Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) - Night ShiftWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level II Trauma Center, capable of handling high-stress situations while providing comprehensive care to adult and pediatric patients. You will work in the Adult/Pedi ER, including ED Holding, Triage, and Urgent Care settings.This is a 13-week contract position.Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)Responsibilities:Assess and address emergent, urgent, and non-urgent conditions such as chest pain, shortness of breath, and abdominal pain.Provide care for 20% pediatric patients.Perform procedures including chest tube setup/care, tracheostomy care, and rapid sequence intubation.Administer TPA and manage patients on cooling/warming blankets and LVAD/Impella devices.Obtain and interpret 12 Lead EKGs and manage blood product administration.Utilize knowledge of BiPAP/CPAP management and perform defibrillation/cardioversion as necessary.Maintain a high patient ratio and ensure effective triage of incoming patients.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an Emergency Room setting.Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS.Experience with chest tubes, TPA, advanced airway management, and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs).Valid Compact State RN License required at the time of submission.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
