JOB TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTORREPORTS TO: QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR DIRECT REPORTS: N/APOSITION SUMMARYThis position’s responsibility is to determine whether product conforms to the engineering definition. This role works in support of one or more production departments to plan verification activities for product and processes performed internally and externally.ELEMENTS RELATED TO THE FUNCTIONPosition Type: Non-ExemptLocation: Demgy Pacific, LLC, Tacoma WAJOB SKILL REQUIREMENTSTraining and experience with programming and running coordinate measurement systems (CMM Manager with and without CAD models), preferredUnderstanding of Boeing’s EID system to find essential information, preferredTraining and experience in Internal Quality Auditing, preferredHas a strong familiarity with and understanding of drawing interpretation and inspection techniquesAbility to read and understand Customers SpecificationsAbility to read & understand aerospace drawings for plastic partsAbility to inspect molded parts utilizing conventional machine shop inspection toolsUnderstanding of GD&TUnderstanding of AS9102 FAIRBe highly detail oriented with a strong background in Aerospace Manufacturing and Quality AssuranceHave good communication, reading, reporting, and computers skills in MS Office (using Word, Excel, and Outlook)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Undergraduate (associate) degree or higher, preferredInspector 1: 1-2 years’ experience in quality inspection or manufacturing role with inspection duties requiredInspector 2: 3-5 years’ experience in quality inspection or manufacturing role with inspection duties requiredPrevious experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment is requiredPrevious experience with ERP/MRP software is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
