About the Position

Seeking an Internal Medicine Hospitalist for overnight locum tenens coverage in a large hospital setting. The role involves adult inpatient care with admissions averaging 10–12 per night on a 7-on/7-off rotation.

Shift Details:

• 12-hour overnight shifts (19:00–07:00 or 20:00–08:00)
• Approximately 14–15 night shifts per month
• Patient population: adults (18+)
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for hospitalized adults
• Manage admissions, inpatient rounding, and patient care coordination overnight
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure safe, efficient care
• Follow hospital protocols and documentation standards

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
• Pennsylvania medical license required
• DEA license required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years post-training experience
