EHS Manager Mission Critical Construction | Austin, TX A leading U.S. mission critical construction and engineering firm is seeking an EHS Manager to oversee safety operations across large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects in Austin, Texas. This role will support complex electrical, mechanical, and critical infrastructure environments on fast‑paced construction programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within mission critical, industrial, or large commercial construction projects, particularly from a General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, or Mechanical Contractor background. Key Responsibilities Lead site‑wide EHS performance across active construction projects Manage safety programs for subcontractors and field teams Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments Ensure OSHA and client safety compliance standards are maintained Lead incident investigations and corrective action processes Drive proactive safety culture and behavioral safety initiatives Support permitting and high‑risk work activities including LOTO, energized work, and confined space Partner closely with project leadership and construction teams Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training Maintain EHS documentation, reporting, and compliance records Preferred Experience Construction safety experience Mission critical or data center construction experience preferred Strong background within MEP‑heavy construction environments Experience working for a GC, Electrical Contractor, or Mechanical Contractor OSHA 30 required CSP, CHST, ASP, or equivalent certifications preferred Strong communication and leadership skills in fast‑paced project environments Additional Information Permanent opportunity Hyperscale data center projects Client‑facing role Multi‑stage interview process Background screening required Strong long‑term growth within the mission critical construction sector Salary: 110,000 – 135,000 Darwin Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
