Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

License: Yes
Certifications: ASCP certified (MLT or MT)

Must-Have:
- 2 years of lab experience
- Able to cover at least 3 out of 4 areas (Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, or Coagulation)
- Experience with manual differentials, manual cell counts, and performing phlebotomy
- Ability to multitask

Description:
The position requires coverage for phlebotomy services during night shifts.
Only one technician will cover the laboratory during night hours.
The lab covers several areas including Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, and Coagulation.
Evening and night shift technicians will have patient contact while performing phlebotomy.
Experience with specified lab equipment is preferred.
The work environment is a small lab requiring flexibility and the ability to assist wherever necessary.
Technicians are expected to embrace a collaborative team approach.
No holiday or call requirements are expected.
Scrub color is not specified, allowing for any color choice.
There will be 2 weeks of department-specific orientation with a preceptor based on the technician's skill set and experience.
Travelers must be flexible in their schedules and may need to assist with filling gaps in permanent scheduling needs.
