Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid RN license
• Previous experience in school nursing or similar pediatric/education settings is highly valued
• Strong assessment and communication skills with a nurturing disposition
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with educators and guardians
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and respecting confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and emergency care for students and staff with professionalism and empathy
• Administer medications and monitor student health plans in accordance with school policy
• Manage student health records, immunizations, and required documentation
• Educate students, families, and staff on wellness, prevention, and chronic health conditions
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators regarding student health needs
• Respond to medical incidents on campus, utilizing clinical judgment and intervention
