Job Summary Banking Associate – Freehold, New Jersey. 20 hours per week. Pay: $22.00 - $27.75 per hour. Responsibilities Process customer banking transactions on teller line and platform, including opening/closing deposit accounts, cash deposits/withdrawals, check handling, debit/credit card issues, regulation E, mobile and online banking. Accurately complete everyday transactions while uncovering customers’ financial needs and providing education on TD products and services. Provide consultative financial advice, build trust through educational content and tools, and advocate proactive insights and recommendations. Engage with customers using TD systems and tools to acquire and deepen relationships, promoting and referring appropriate products, services, or internal partners. Manage lead generation and follow‑up, including self‑generated leads, partner/retail referral leads, outbound calls, SMS outreach, setting or hosting appointments, and lead prioritization. Handle lobby leadership, serve as first point of contact for inquiries, orchestrate walk‑in traffic, and coordinate appointments with bankers. Maintain compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements including CSB, Patriot Act, and TD Code of Conduct. Complete required compliance and platform training, including teller training and part1 of platform training upon hire. Maintain accurate records, follow audit and regulator requests, and ensure all documentation meets internal and external audit standards. Operate cash drawer responsibilities, securing cash, maintaining limits, and performing cash drawer reconciliation. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum one year of customer‑facing experience (volunteer, education, military, or other). Strong customer service skills and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience as a teller preferred; not required but advantage. Strong organization skills, ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication; concise, clear, consistent. Effective problem‑solving, decision‑making, and judgment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Notary license preferred.
