14724 – Senior Business Analyst (hybrid) – Austin, TX Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid – On Site and Telework. Required: Experience with Eliciting requirements from interviews with customers and creating well‑written system requirements (8+ years). Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (8+ years). Experience with Business process re‑engineering and software process flow improvement (8+ years). Experience with Developing user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practices (8+ years). Experience with Designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices (5+ years). Experience with Atlassian Jira (5+ years). Preferred: CRM domain expertise with a strong understanding of CRM workflows, data models, and user needs (3+ years). Experience working with TEA or any federal, state, or local government agency (3+ years). Experience with the Texas charter school application, authorization, or renewal process (2+ years). Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master). Responsibilities: Analyze user needs, business processes, pain points, and computer system capabilities to automate or improve existing systems. Elicit requirements using joint application development (JAD), interviews, document analysis, surveys, use cases, competitive product analysis, and workflow analysis. Transform information from elicitation sessions into business and functional requirements, use cases, user stories, software requirements specifications documents, wireframes, and mockups. Use standard templates and simple, unambiguous, and concise natural language. Act as a mentor to peers and colleagues in disseminating best practices and proactively seek out training opportunities.
