As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a professional, visible presence. Use computer or tablet systems and badge access experience to support daily operations while delivering outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests, and help support authorized entry to designated areas in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
