No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff
Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units

Patient Diagnoses
• The most common diagnoses include all subtypes of the following:
• Breast Cancer
• Lung Cancer
• Prostate Cancer
• Pancreatic Cancer
• Colon Cancer
• Esophageal Cancer
• Encounter for antineoplastic chemotherapy

Special Procedures/Unit Details
• 17 James cares for ALL solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey; from new diagnosis, through treatment, and also assisting with transition to end of life care.
• Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
• Cares for patients that have true med surg issues

Certifications Required
• BLS

Skills Required:
• Telemetry Interpretation
• Telemetry monitoring

Certifications Preferred
• ONS Chemo

COMPUTERIZED CHARTING
• EPIC

Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc at osu.campusparc.com):

The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. The WMC permit is available monthly.

WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage - ***/month or *** per 100 days.
WB Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service - ***/year.
CXS Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 - ***/year.

WB Parking Details: Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from OSU Wexner Medical Center. The Pink Shuttle runs every 3-5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8-9 minutes. Weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m. Outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply.

Refund Information: Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take 3-5 weeks.
