Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN to join the Emergency Department on a travel assignment in Macon, GA. This role is ideal for a dedicated Emergency Department nurse with experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The position involves working within a dynamic team environment in a high acuity, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Department

• Provide advanced emergency care to patients with various urgent medical needs, including trauma cases
• Administer medications and IV drips as required, such as Heparin, Insulin, and Epinephrine
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and perform vital assessments
• Support within the department with tasks such as VS, Glucose Checks, and patient transportation

Requirements of the RN - Emergency Department

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years ED RN experience, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Competency in EK rhythm interpretation and completion of an EKG competency exam
• Experience with EPIC EMR and working within an ER setting
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred
