Our client operates as a true one-stop shop for commercial, industrial, and residential fabrication solutions. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring products are properly packaged, inventoried, and shipped out on time to job sites and warehouses. Shipping Assistant - Key Responsibilities

• Assist with crating skids and preparing finished sheet metal products for safe transit.
• Help schedule outbound trucks and coordinate with carrier services.
• Safely load and unload delivery trucks.
• Count stock accurately and put away inventory in assigned warehouse locations.
• During slower periods in the shipping department, assist with light manufacturing/assembly tasks as directed.
• Complete assigned duties efficiently according to manager instructions.

Shipping Assistant - Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Experience operating power tools for crating/skid building is a plus.
• Comfortable lifting and moving heavy products as required for loading/unloading.
• Adaptable mindset and willingness to assist in light manufacturing when needed.
• Strong attention to detail, basic counting skills, and reliable attendance.
