Construction Manager Trainee (CMT) Summary The Construction Manager Trainee assists in the supervision, coordination, and management of all assigned residential construction. Responsibilities Your Responsibilities on the Team Assisting in preparing & maintaining job schedules. Inspecting & enforcing job safety requirements. Completing ‘punch lists’ & assisting in completion of new home orientation lists. Attending construction meetings & training classes as scheduled. Ensuring job site cleanliness & assisting in completion of model/inventory maintenance. Assisting in areas of service-related issues. Daily interaction with various division personnel, subcontractors, business partners, & homeowners. Qualifications Must have High School Diploma or GED/ College degree preferred Must possess organization skills (keeping current daily schedules, maintaining timely & accurate flow of paperwork) Must possess excellent time management & interpersonal skills Must have valid Driver’s License & auto insurance w/ good driving record Computer literacy & proficiency in MS Office products (Word and Excel) a plus! Prior experience/knowledge of construction & building code practices & procedures a plus! Ability to read/ interpret blueprints a plus!
