The Naval Shipboard Portfolio has an immediate opening for a Financial Program Controls Analyst on the Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) program within the newly created Growth organization. What You Will Do The selected candidate will operate with independence and exercise sound judgment in forecasting, risk identification, and financial planning. Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis. Coordinate the development of quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC). Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads. Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required. Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance utilizing standard company tools and processes. Implementation and Maintenance of Earned Value Management. Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads. Contribute to the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs). Establish and maintain program logs (Work Authorization, Contract Mod Log, R&Os). What You Will Learn How to shape financial execution strategy at the outset of a major production contract phase within a mature defense portfolio. Advanced forecasting and EAC methodologies across a complex, multi-year production environment. Integration of technology refresh and obsolescence mitigation into established production baselines. Long‑lead material planning and funding strategy in coordination with Supply Chain and Operations. Executive-level communication of program financial performance and risk posture. Cross‑functional influence within a matrixed organization supporting large‑scale defense production. Qualifications You Must Have A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field (or equivalent) with minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years experience. Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution. Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. Qualifications We Prefer Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking. Advanced Excel skills including Power Query knowledge. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
