Schedule: Monday–Friday | 11:30 AM–8:30 PM or potentially 10:00 AM–7:00 PM

Payrate:- $22

 

Job Summary:-

We are seeking a Fraud Specialist to investigate, remediate, and respond to suspected fraud and financial crime activity. This role will review high-risk clients and transactions, investigate fraud concerns, communicate with clients and internal teams, and work with financial institutions to help prevent losses and recover fraudulent funds. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, investigative, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 

Responsibilities:-

Review high-risk clients and transactions to identify and prevent potential fraud.

Receive and investigate fraud concerns and escalations from clients and internal business partners.

Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams to resolve fraud-related cases.

Coordinate with financial institutions to freeze bank accounts and assist with the recovery of fraudulent funds.

Prepare and submit required documentation, including letters of indemnification.

Investigate check fraud, including counterfeit checks and forged endorsements.

Track fraud incidents and maintain accurate case records for reporting and trend analysis.

Investigate situations involving exposure of personally identifiable information (PII) and ensure proper procedures are followed.

Evaluate clients who fail authentication screening and conduct research to assess legitimacy and risk.

Enter and maintain fraud cases in a centralized case management system.

Identify trends and provide information that may support fraud prevention and investigation efforts.

Follow applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulatory requirements.

Perform other fraud-related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:-

Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Economic Crime Investigation, Finance, Business, or a related field required.

At least 1 year of experience in fraud, investigations, banking, compliance, business, or finance.

Strong analytical and investigative skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong customer service and client-facing communication abilities.

Ability to analyze transactions, identify suspicious activity, and make sound decisions.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive and personally identifiable information.
