Part Time / Tuition with Stipend WORK SCHEDULE Varies with Sports Schedule JOB SUMMARY Southern Nazarene University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the SNU Athletics Strength & Conditioning Program. The University is a member of the NCAA DII Great American Conference. The successful candidate will have mature, growing relationship with Christ and collegiate some collegiate strength & conditioning experience. Applicants must be willing to lead strength & conditioning training plans for a variety of sports. RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Functions Assist the Head Coach in providing leadership for the SNU Athletics Strength & Conditioning Program. Play an integral role in the day-to-day administrative responsibilities and player/team training plans This position must work within SNU, GAC, and NCAA DII guidelines to provide student-athletes with an exceptional collegiate experience while competing for championships. Required Qualifications Southern Nazarene University is an expression of the Church of the Nazarene. College undergraduate completion Minimum of one to two years of related work experience and/or relevant training Possess strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple demands in fast-paced work environment Typing and spelling competency Experience with various computer software applications Data entry experience Preferred Qualifications Some direct strength & conditioning experience Experience in higher education Supervision Received Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction. Supervision Exercised May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for student employees. Benefits Stipend only.
