SHOWROOM SALES SPECIALIST

Overview The role of Showroom Sales Specialist at Dal‑Tile involves providing interior design and product selection advice, facilitating tile and stone selection, and supporting sales and brand awareness in the showroom. Expected base pay ranges from $64,000 to $80,000, with incentive, commissions, and benefits available. Responsibilities Provide interior design advice and product expertise to facilitate tile and stone selection and project development. Log client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed preference notes in CMT and report monthly sales closures. Prospect for new business, emphasizing Custom Builders and Residential Designers; make outside sales calls and log all visits in CMT. Maintain showroom samples and merchandising, including ordering, receiving, and shipping samples to customers. Plan and host showroom tours and events to drive sales; attend industry trade events to build brand awareness. Work evenings and weekends as required. Experience, Education and Knowledge Four‑year degree or equivalent experience, or a two‑year degree with two years of related experience. Sales/customer engagement, customer service, design, sketching, reading blueprints, Auto‑CAD (a plus), color coordination, interior design trends, customer buying habits, creative thinking. Computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); customer‑management tools (a plus). Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills. Other Pertinent Job Information Must stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally sit, climb or balance; lift up to 80 pounds. Requires close, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, a range of temperatures, and loud noise levels; reasonable accommodations available.
