Project SuperintendentThe project superintendent is responsible for overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. This individual should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Superintendents work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, employees, and the project manager to ensure the project remains on track.Essential Job FunctionsOversee daily operation of construction projectsEnsure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followedCommunicate project progress with clients and project managersManage subcontractors and construction site organization and schedulingEffectively manage a crew of carpenters and laborersSubmission of daily job logs and time recordsRequires regular and prompt attendance plus the ability to work well with others and work well as a teamPerforms other related duties as assignedAttends monthly safety trainings / meetingsMaintenance of company provided vehicles and project equipmentWeekly submission of credit card receipts and invoicesQualificationsGED or an equivalent combination of education and experienceCompliance with drug testing programMinimum of five years experience in related fieldAbility to pass child abuse, FBI, and state police background checksLicenses and CertificationsOSHA 30 (Must be obtained within 60-days of hire)Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to read construction blueprintsStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsGeneral knowledge in all areas of construction including MEPsHands on experience with drywall, carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, etc.Building maintenance experienceAbility to run equipmentAbility to use hand and motorized toolsAbility to perform strenuous manual laborBenefitsPaid VacationPaid HolidaysMatching 401k ProgramPaid Health Insurance, Dental, VisionCompany Vehicle and Gas CardJob Bonuses
