Location: Walnut, Mississippi
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 annually

We are seeking a Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift to join a rapidly growing manufacturer supporting the power-grid infrastructure industry.

This position will provide hands-on leadership across second-shift production operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. The Production Supervisor will lead production employees, monitor manufacturing performance, address operational issues, and work closely with support teams to keep production running safely and efficiently.

• Supervise and provide daily direction to second-shift production employees.
• Ensure production activities meet customer requirements, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Hold employees accountable to company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and performance expectations.
• Monitor key production metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) .
• Identify performance gaps and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform root-cause analysis when production, safety, quality, delivery, or cost objectives are not achieved.
• Monitor plant equipment and production systems and escalate operational or maintenance concerns as appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to reduce nonconforming product and improve manufacturing performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, engineering, materials, and other support functions to ensure production has the resources required.
• Train and develop employees on production processes, procedures, and in-process and final quality requirements.
• Maintain appropriate production and quality documentation.
• Analyze production data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
• Communicate expectations clearly and consistently to production employees.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production operation.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

• 2+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing facility.
• Demonstrated understanding of production processes, safety, quality, and operational performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work second shift in Walnut, Mississippi .

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Team Lead, Production Lead, or similar manufacturing leadership position .
• Experience supervising or directing production employees.
• Experience tracking manufacturing performance metrics.
• Root-cause analysis and corrective-action experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
• SAP experience.
• Experience within metal fabrication, machinery, electrical equipment, transportation equipment, or related manufacturing environments.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on manufacturing leader who takes ownership of their area, communicates effectively with employees, follows problems through to resolution, and leads by example.

Candidates should be comfortable balancing production demands with safety and quality requirements while proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance.
