Call shifts required on weekends and during the week (1600-0700 weekdays; every 6th weekend Friday 1600 through Monday 0700). Approximately 3 shifts in a 2-week period.Highlights:\n \n 13-week travel assignment in a 3-room cardiac catheterization lab serving adult and geriatric populations\n Work with a Trauma Level II facility utilizing Epic charting system\n Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, physical therapy, and rapid response teams\n 40 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding\n Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR, Impella insertion, IABP, and interventional catheterizations\n One pre-approved time off period available during contract\n Requirements:\n \n Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)\n Minimum 5 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience required\n Current ACLS and BLS certifications required\n Trauma Level II experience required\n Epic charting system experience required\n Extensive skills required including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, procedural sedation, circulating and scrubbing procedures, IABP placement/removal, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias\n Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years\n Clean background check required (facility does not accept Nursys or background hits)\n Willingness to float to sister facilities as needed\n Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n Why Join Us?\n This travel nursing opportunity offers the chance to work in a well-equipped cardiac catheterization lab with a supportive interdisciplinary team and advanced procedural capabilities.
