Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, scheduling diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and treating a range of acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently as credentialing permits
• Educating patients and their families about preventive measures, wellness, and disease management strategies
• Prescribing the necessary medications and therapies in accordance with your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care efficiently
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, seamless care
• Maintaining accurate and complete documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days)
