This role supports our Ascentist Healthcare clinics, helping us deliver exceptional care across our locations in Kansas and Missouri.As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting a variety of clinical areas, working alongside different providers and care teams. This position will float between our Endocrinology, Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine departments, providing coverage and support as needed. You will help maintain a professional and efficient environment while using strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff and providers, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes for every patient.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Rooming patients and preparing them for their visitCollecting and documenting medical history and vital signsChart prepping and maintaining accurate patient recordsAssisting providers during in-office proceduresPreparing patients and procedure rooms ahead of treatmentsSubmitting prior authorizations as neededSupporting clinic operations and ensuring a smooth patient flowAscentist welcomes team members who are striving to reach new heights in their personal and professional development.
