A leading metals manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a 1st shift Direct Hire opportunity. If you thrive in a fast-paced job shop environment and are passionate about precision machining, we want to hear from you!

$28.00 - $35.00 Based on Experience

9-Hour Workday; Earliest Start Time 6:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Write and edit the majority of machine programs and codes independently
• Perform all machine set-ups without assistance
• Calculate necessary speeds and feeds for various operations
• Consistently produce high-quality parts according to specifications
• Meet or exceed routed production times
• Identify errors quickly and communicate issues to the supervisor
• Set up and operate multiple machines when possible
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; notify management of maintenance needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CNC/Mill experience in a job shop environment
• Strong programming skills using G & M Codes
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools for accurate inspections
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Capable of following detailed and complex instructions precisely
• Advanced mathematical and analytical abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Punctual with consistent attendance
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training is a plus
