Pharmacy Technician Contract to Hire

Location: Media, PA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Maintain compliance with USP compounding standards through continuous training and competency assessments.
• Accurately read, interpret, and enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
• Prepare and compound medications according to established formulations with pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in preparing formula log sheets and ensure documentation meets compliance requirements.
• Measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications with precision.
• Manage inventory by tracking ingredient, equipment, and PPE stock levels to support uninterrupted operations.
• Support batch compounding, product labeling, and verify log accuracy.
• Ensure timely preparation and fulfillment of compounded prescriptions for shipment or patient pickup.
• Maintain accurate records of compounded products and document all performed tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy technician experience required.
• Sterile compounding experience is mandatory.
• Valid PA Pharmacy Technician license required.
