Pharmacy Technician - OutpatientWe are seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of outpatient pharmacy experience, strong attention to detail, and a consistent employment history.Responsibilities:Support daily operations of the outpatient pharmacy.Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and prescription processing.Enter and maintain prescription and patient information accurately.Assist with inventory management and medication stocking.Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.Provide professional and courteous support to patients and pharmacy staff.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of Outpatient Pharmacy Technician experience.PA Pharmacy Registration is required.Must hold PTCB or CPHT certification.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Candidates should demonstrate employment stability and longevity; frequent job changes/job hopping may be a concern.Preferred:Local candidates will be given priority.Previous experience in a hospital or health-system outpatient pharmacy is preferred.Familiarity with pharmacy information systems is a plus.
