Job Description
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a dedicated and skilled professional ready to deliver exceptional nursing care in an emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic charting systems.

Shift Information

• Shifts: Available in 12-hour and 8-hour formats, including night shifts.
• Weekend Requirement: Work every other weekend.

Staffing Ratios

• Days: 1:3 Patient-to-Nurse Ratio
• Nights: 1:3 Patient-to-Nurse Ratio
• Weekends: 1:3 Patient-to-Nurse Ratio

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Skills Required: IV start abilities.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in triage and conscious sedation.

Floating Requirements

The RN may float within their scope to meet the needs of the facility across multiple locations as required.

Additional Information

• There are no restrictions on the number of days requested off, but ideally no more than 5 days.
• This position does not accommodate a block schedule.
• Local candidates are welcome, and pending licenses are not accepted.
