Job Description

The Operating Room (OR) at our facility is seeking a dedicated and skilled Seasonal Travel RN for a position in our surgical department. The RN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including Orthopedics, GYN, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiothoracic, and more.
• Provide patient care throughout the perioperative period, from admission to discharge.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Utilize advanced surgical equipment like DaVinci Robotics, Mako, and other technologies.
• Adhere to hospital policies and guidelines, including on-call requirements and response times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Operating Room RN experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with DaVinci Robotics is highly preferred, along with knowledge in orthopedics, neurology, and vascular procedures.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR is a plus.
