Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER I)Location: Willimantic, CT (Windham Hospital)Shift: Nights – 36 hours/week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW) / Every Other Holiday (EOH)Start Date: ASAPResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in the Emergency DepartmentAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plansRespond to a wide range of emergency situations including trauma, cardiac, neurological, and behavioral health casesCollaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomesMaintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systemsRequirementsActive RN license (CT or compact, as applicable)Minimum 1 year of ER experience requiredExperience with trauma, STEMI, stroke, and behavioral health patientsEpic EMR experience preferredCertifications (Required)BLS (Basic Life Support)ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)NIHSS (NI Stroke Scale Certification)Preferred CertificationsTNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)Additional InformationNo on-call requirementsFast-paced, high-acuity emergency department settingOpportunity to work with a collaborative and experienced clinical team
