The Opportunity As an Asset & Wealth Management Tax Senior Associate you will support tax compliance and advisory work for clients in asset and wealth management, including reviewing financial data, preparing tax returns, and helping clients navigate complex tax rules. As a Senior Associate you will manage assigned workstreams, analyze complex issues, build meaningful client connections, and guide junior team members while deepening your technical skills and business understanding. In this role at PwC, you will contribute within our Tax practice, using critical thinking to interpret data, respond to changing client needs, and maintain professional and technical standards while delivering work that aligns with the broader objectives of the engagement.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing client tax data, financial statements, and supporting records to prepare and file tax returns
• Analyzing tax law, regulatory updates, and client fact patterns to identify filing requirements and reporting implications
• Preparing tax workpapers, schedules, and draft submissions for asset and wealth management clients
• Interpreting complex compliance issues and translating findings into clear recommendations for engagement teams
• Coordinating multiple workstreams and tracking deadlines across tax compliance engagements
• Applying tax research and accounting knowledge to support return positions and resolve technical questions
• Monitoring data for inconsistencies, missing items, and potential filing risks before submission
• Supporting client communications by responding to information requests and clarifying documentation needs
• Guiding junior team members on assigned tasks and reviewing work for completeness and accuracy
• Contributing to process improvements that streamline tax compliance delivery and strengthen recurring engagement workflows

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment (Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity)

Travel Requirements

Up to 20%

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
