Scheduling Coordinator (Operations Assistant II) Salary: $36,608 – $44,845 per year, USCA Registrar Job Summary The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the management and implementation of several key areas of student services housed in the Office of the Registrar, including academic class scheduling, degree audit programming, reporting Title IV withdrawals, recording student attendance of Academic Enrichment (ACE) events, and performing assigned commencement ceremony duties. Responsibilities Produce academic schedules, update classroom assignments, limits, and faculty. Serve on ACE planning committees. Communicate with students, faculty, and staff regarding Registrar office transactions (e.g., grade changes, make‑ups, challenge exams). Enter attendance at Academic Enrichment (ACE) programs, receive information to award ACE credit to online students, and resolve attendance issues. Learn basics of degree audit programming and assist when needed. Maintain familiarity with academic calendar and registration process; instruct students on first‑time use of Self‑Service and associated student systems. Work an assigned area at rehearsal and actual commencement ceremonies twice a year. Collect attendance data for the unofficial withdrawals process, document no‑shifts, and record Title IV data for students who failed classes. Collaborate with Financial Aid each semester during data reconciliation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and no prior work experience (may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience). Preferred: Experience in student services areas or related university offices. Preferred: Prior experience in event scheduling or Registrar functions. Computer proficiency in a Windows‑based environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Application Deadline July 5 2026.
