Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Konecranes is launching a dedicated Light Lifting Equipment (LLE) Business Unit for Region Americas to capture a significant growth opportunity in a market exceeding $1 billion annually. The LLE Sales Professional will play a key role in building this business from the ground up by driving growth across electric chain hoists, manual chain hoists, enclosed track workstation systems, jib cranes, below-the-hook solutions, and complete material handling systems.

This is not a traditional territory sales role. This position will operate as a strategic growth leader, working collaboratively across Industrial Service, Industrial Equipment, Enterprise Accounts, OEMs, Automation Integrators, Strategic Market Accounts, and Direct Sales channels to identify, develop, and close opportunities.

The successful candidate will help establish Konecranes as the easiest company in the industry to do business with, for light lifting solutions while delivering exceptional customer experience and profitable growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive Revenue Growth

• Achieve annual order and revenue targets.
• Develop and execute regional growth strategies.
• Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline.
• Drive unit volume growth across all LLE product categories.
• Increase market share through competitive takeaways and new customer acquisition.

Develop Complete Customer Solutions

• Sell and promote:

Manual Chain Hoists

Electric Chain Hoists

Workstation Crane Systems

KBK Enclosed Track Systems

Jib Cranes

Below-the-Hook Devices

Material Handling Solutions

Strategic Partner Solutions

• Work directly with customers to identify safety, productivity, ergonomic, and material flow improvements.

Industrial Service Growth

• Work closely with Service Sales teams to:

Identify opportunities during inspections.

Leverage modernization recommendations.

Review installed equipment for replacement opportunities.

Develop workstation and ergonomic applications.

Generate recurring referral opportunities.

Every inspection, service visit, and installation should create an opportunity assessment

Industrial Equipment Collaboration

• Partner with CTO and Equipment Sales teams to ensure:

Every crane opportunity includes LLE evaluation.

Every installation includes workstation review.

Every project evaluates material handling enhancements.

Customers receive complete lifting solutions.

Enterprise Account Development

• Support Enterprise Account Managers.
• Conduct LLE opportunity reviews at strategic customers.
• Develop standardized multi-site programs.
• Expand Konecranes share of customer spend.

OEM & Automation Channel Development

• Develop relationships with:

OEMs

Machine Builders

Automation Engineers

Systems Integrators

Robotics Integrators

Production Line Designers

Create preferred supplier relationships that drive specification influence and recurring opportunities.

Customer Assessments

• Conduct customer-focused:
• LLE Opportunity Assessments
  • Evaluate:
  • Material flow
  • Ergonomics
  • Productivity
  • Safety
  • Manual lifting concerns
  • Assembly processes
  • Future lifting requirements
• Present recommendations that improve customer operations while expanding Konecranes market share.

Business Development

• Develop new business opportunities.
• Identify and penetrate target industries.
• Build strategic customer relationships.
• Represent Konecranes at trade shows, customer events and industry associations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years industrial sales experience.

• Ability to travel internationally, locally and outside the service area for operational requirements & training when necessary.
• 50-60% Travel required.
