Downstream Process Development Co-Op
$28 - $32 per hourKeros Therapeutics
Co-op opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students to execute downstream purification and characterization experiments in biologics process development. Responsibilities include chromatography operations, buffer formulation, stability studies, and technical documentation in a laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute scale-down studies and purification experiments using FPLC and liquid chromatography
- Perform buffer formulation, resin selection, and filter loading studies
- Conduct protein characterization via A280, SEC, SDS-PAGE, and cIEF analysis
- Maintain lab equipment, verify functionality, and record data and observations
- Support formulation and stability studies with statistical analysis
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, or bioengineering program
- Working knowledge of protein biochemistry and general lab techniques
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and experimental design
- Technical and scientific writing and presentation skills
Compensation: $28–$32 USD hourly
