With a presence in more than 40 countries, Molex fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and transformative technology development across global markets.What You Will DoLead the design and validation of fiber optic components and systems, including connectors and cable assembliesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, and product management) to develop scalable optical solutionsConduct simulations, prototyping, and testing of optical systems to meet performance and reliability standardsDrive continuous improvement in optical design processes and manufacturing techniquesGain and apply comprehensive understanding of fiber optic products, installation, and test methods to all new product development projectsWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)BS in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering fieldMechanical design experience in new product development Sound experience with parametric solid modeling (NX, Creo, SolidWorks)Design experience with multiple manufacturing techniques (injection molding, insert molding, sheet-metal forming, machining, extrusion)Desire to learn, be challenged and interact in a cross-functional team environmentLegally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.Within a daily commutable distance to Lisle, IL and will not require relocation assistance For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
