Material Handler

Position - Material Handler

Job Location - Menomonee Falls, WI

Starting Date - Immediate

Employment Term - Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type - Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) - 1st Shift (6:00am - 3:00pm)

Starting Pay - Depends on Experience, $20-$25 per hour

Required Education - High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience - At least 1-2 years of experience

Responsibilities

- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved and enters information into computer system. -Confirms accurate receipt of material from vendors, suppliers, etc. by verifying paperwork.

-Loads, unloads, and moves material for transit by securing strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage of material

-Transfers materials from storage location to designated machining or staging areas. Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or to be stored in inventory.

-Utilize company ERP and other software such as Epicor and Microsoft Suite products.

-Assemble small sub-assemblies for customers prior to shipment dates.

-Operate Company Semi truck to fill in for regular Driver (day trips), move truck & trailer to / from each plant to load parts for delivery, either plant to plant or to the customer


Qualifications

-HS Diploma/GED required

-1-2 years required, along with CDL A License

-Exceptional safety record and attention to detail

-Ability to read and interpret documents
