**Material Handler / Shipping Assistant

**

Toolcraft Machining, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Material Handler / Shipping Assistant to join our team, at our facility in Germantown, WI. This individual will support daily shipping, receiving, and material handling operations to ensure products are packaged, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Essential Job Responsibilities:

**

1. Prepare, package, and label customer orders for shipment according to Company and customer requirements.

2. Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments using appropriate material handing equipment.

3. Verify incoming materials and shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.

4. Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other required shipping documentation.

5. Assist with scheduling freight pickups and coordinating shipments with carriers.

6. Transport raw materials, work-in-[process, and finished goods throughout the facility as needed.

7. Maintain accurate inventory of shipping and packaging supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.

8. Ensure all shipments meet Toolcraft and customer packaging, labeling, and compliance requirements.

9. Maintain clean, organized, and safe shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas.

10. Follow all Toolcraft safety policies and contribute to a “zero accidents” culture.

11. Support continuous improvement efforts within shipping and material handling processes.

**Preferred Job Qualifications:

**

1. High School Diploma

2. Proven experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, material handling, or manufacturing environments is preferred.

3. Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (or willingness to obtain certification)

4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Basic computer skills.

8. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.

9. Fast learner with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

2. Hourly – Non-Exempt
