Community Education Site Coordinator - West Valley

Position Overview The Community Education Site Coordinator is the lead administrator responsible for overseeing all Community Education programs on campus, including Preschool, Legacy Kids Care (LKC), and Kindergarten Education Enrichment Program (KEEP). The role involves implementing policies, managing staff, ensuring compliance with state and school standards, and maintaining program quality and safety. Essential Functions Oversee all Community Education programs (Preschool, KEEP, LKC, Clubs, Vendors). Monitor enrollment for LKC, KEEP and Preschool. Serve as campus lead for Community Education programs. Communicate program updates to all LKC & Preschool staff and parents. Create staff schedules maintaining a 30:1 child: staff ratio for LKC and a 13:1 or 15:1 ratio in Preschool. Ensure completion of Staff Member Approval forms. Be on-call for before or after school LKC & Preschool sessions. Order snacks & lunches, inventory supplies, and eliminate food waste. Conduct site validations to ensure program implementation aligns with mission, vision, and licensing. Manage discipline and report concerns to Assistant Principal, Preschool Program Coordinator, and Director of Community Education. Monitor enrollment paperwork and ensure required emergency contact, medication, allergy/medical, and IEP information are on file. Train Preschool staff on essential duties and licensing requirements. Directly supervise Preschool staff, including hiring, performance management, and dismissal. Conduct annual reviews for direct reports. Advise administration on student services, staff concerns, and program success. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to interact positively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Experience with child care/after school programs, parent involvement, and curriculum development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Excel, and related systems for data tracking and reporting. Independent problem‑solving skills and ability to handle varied situations. Excellent organizational, computer, and communication abilities. Flexibility with scheduling to fulfill job requirements. Strong written and verbal communication, diplomatic in stakeholder interaction. Effective relationship management with students, teachers, staff, and parents to foster a positive culture. Openness to feedback and continuous learning in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment. Prior managerial experience in child care or preschool settings. Education & Licensure High School Diploma. Food Handler’s Card/Certification. CPR/First Aid Certification. Recent negative TB Test (within 1 year). Work Experience Minimum 2 years in a child care/preschool setting. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a child care and/or preschool setting. Preferred: Minimum 1 year as a Legacy Traditional School employee.
