Substance Abuse Counselor

Role Overview A Substance Abuse Counselor engages patients through individual, group, and family counseling to support recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. The counselor collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, conducts intakes, discharges, and treatment planning, documents patient progress, and performs at least 20 hours of direct counseling weekly. The role involves educating patients, administering urine drug screens, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.
