Individuals with high emotional intelligence, humility and openness to discovery will thrive in the teams we are building.Job Summary:Solve challenging engineering problems involving electrified products, systems, and components using advanced engineering analysis, technical expertise, and cross-functional execution. Support battery electric machine development, high-voltage integration, battery technologies, and product development activities for the Tucson team.What You Will Do:Collaborate with customers, product groups, and leadership to define and execute electrification projects that meet business and customer objectivesLead development and integration activities for battery, charging, high-voltage, and electric drive systems across machine platformsAccountable for delivering timely, high-quality engineering solutions, technical recommendations, and project execution support for new product introduction and validation activitiesPartner with design, manufacturing, supply chain, software, controls, and test teams to successfully develop and deploy electrified productsSupport technical issue resolution, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives across development and production programsStay current on emerging electrification technologies and apply best practices to improve product performance, reliability, and customer valueWhat You Will Have:Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringAnalytical Thinking: Extensive experience and knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Effective Communications: Working knowledge and understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Problem Solving: Extensive experience and knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Technical Excellence: Working knowledge of electrification technologies and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges involving battery electric machines, energy storage systems, high-voltage integration, power electronics, charging systems, and vehicle electrification.What Will Set You Apart:Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to influence technical direction, align stakeholders, and drive execution across multiple engineering, product, test, and manufacturing teams.Additional Information:This position is located in Tucson, AZ and requires 5-day on-site availabilityDomestic relocation is availableVisa Sponsorship is not availableThis role travels up to 25% of the time, both domestic and internationalSummary Pay Range:$112,710.00 - $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
