Shift: 8-4:30 M-F Job Responsibilities:
- Review accounts including EOBs, ERAs, payments, adjustments, and account details
- Validate patient payments and coordination of benefits
- Communicate with insurance companies for additional information
- Accurately post and transfer payments as per guidelines
- Handle routine account issues and follow established procedures
- Assist with complex accounts and escalations
- Support team with projects, SOPs, and job aids
- Participate in team huddles, training sessions, and workflow discussions
- Identify issues, trends, and workflow improvement opportunities
- Assist with root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Collaborate with offshore partners
- Manage workload to meet deadlines and productivity expectations
- Attend workforce management calls
- Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks
- 1+ year of experience in EPIC
- 3+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience (billing and collections)
- Knowledge of accounts receivable and insurance processes
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Front-end claims or A/R experience
